African Rice

It´s easy to prepare and tastes super good. We like to eat it with some shrimps.

Ingredients

For the lye bun

  • 250 g basmati rice
  • 2-3 pieces fresh tomatoes
  • 2 pieces onion
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 bunch fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Cook the rice.
  • Cut and fry the onion and garlic.
  • Then add the tomatoes, the beans and the peanut butter and the spices. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  • Mix with the rice and add parsley.
