Artichokes in Wine
This is a realy simple recipe but it is a nice way to eat and enjoy artichokes. Artichokes are incredibly healthy and support fat metabolism.

For the lye bun
- 4-6 pieces artichokes
- 2-4 cloves garlic
- 50-100 g ham
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 3/4 l wine
Cut the garlic and ham (vegans can just leave the ham) into small pieces and fry in a pan with oil - then let the artichokes fry briefly.
Cut the artichokes on the top and then put them in a saucepan with the garlic and ham and pour the red wine over it.
If possible, close the pot with a lid and let it cook in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40-45 minutes.
Now and then pour the wine sauce over the artichokes so that they do not dry out.
When eating, you take the leaves between your teeth and pull out the leave, so you get to the pulp. When all the leaves are gone you get to the heart. Take out the thistle / stings and eat the rest.
